  1. Famous Red Fort- Red Fort is famous for it’s architecture and history. It’s made from red sandstone that’s why it’s name is “Red Fort”. It is a symbol of Mughal Empire in Delhi. It’s construction was started on 13 May 1638 by 15th Emperor named Shah Jahan and completed 6 April 1648. On 15 August 1947 when India got freedom, first prime minister raised Tiranga (Name of Indian National Flag) on Red Fort. And now on every 15 August, Indian Prime Minister hoists Tiranga at Red Fort.

Chandni Chowk is also a tourist attraction in front of Red Fort.

  1. The Rashtrapati Bhavan- Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official resistance of President of India and also known as Viceroy’s House. This was built during British rule in India. It’s construction was started in 1912 and was completed in 1929.

There are only three days allowed for visitors to visit are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9 am to 4 pm (This can be changed).

  1. Tughlaqabad Fort- Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq (the founder of Tughlaq Dynasty) built Tughlaqabad Fort in 1321. It is one of the oldest forts. This fort is famous for it’s architecture and history.
  2. Qutub Minar- The Qutub Minar is the highest minaret in India which is built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak as a symbol of victory.
